WEEK 6

Week 01

Welcome to Week 1 of our Body Rigging Workshop! This week, we’ll focus on building the foundations for creating efficient characters. We’ll start by understanding the importance of proper topology for animated characters, Then we’ll dive into basic anatomy, learning how skeletal structures, muscles, behave in the human body and apply that into hour characters topology. Lastly, we’ll explore some tools and scripts to streamline repetitive tasks and optimize workflows.

02

Human Anatomy

Anatomy is key to creating natural, functional rigs. In this video, we’ll focus on bones, muscles, and joints to design rigs that move realistically and support great animation.

03

Body Topology

Topology is the foundation of a good rig. In this video, we’ll cover how to create clean, efficient geometry that deforms naturally and supports smooth animation.

Face Retopology

Facial retopology ensures clean, rigging-friendly geometry to be able to achieve big range of motions and natural expressions. In this video, we’ll focus on optimizing face topology of our character.
